Vietnam in the Caribou. |
This video was produced by Bob St John. Bob was a Loady on the Caribou in Vietnam, he delivered an aircraft to Vung Tau in August 1964 then came back again in June 1965 and stayed until Feb 1966. On his return to Australia, he was posted to 37 Sqn (E model Hercs) and had a further 34 trips to Vietnam.

35 Sqn Freedom of the City.

Caribou from Oakey to HARS.
On the 2nd November 2011, Caribou A4-234 left Oakey Army Base, where it had been stored for some time and joined the HARS stable of aircraft at Wollongong. See the video below and click HERE to see some pics taken on the day. |
